Description: I was lead 3D designer on this colorful underwater play set. Our small 3D team created this 360 degree play palace from concept and pre-vizualization to engineered sculpts. I designed new figures with a tail on which they can stand, slide, and fit snugly in sitting spaces like the throne, sofa, and swing. It took an incredible cooperative effort between our 3D design and engineering teams to pull off the palace's unique organic design. There are activities and places to explore in every section of this 360 degree play set. I also mentored 2 junior 3D artists concurrently. We proved successful in balancing charm, durability, educational value, and product longevity. This product is still being sold more than a dozen years after its initial release.
