ABOUT
I am a traditionally skilled 3D artist with extensive experience in toy design, 3D modeling, interactive animations, and print design.
My early love of drawing is the root of my art and my soul is filled with the lively, colorful culture of my Latino heritage. A strong work ethic was implanted in me at a young age and I have used this to seize every opportunity to learn new artistic techniques and exercise my creativity. My affinity for computer arts and coding enhanced my growth in the traditional arts: drawing, painting, sculpting, calligraphy, technical drafting, and animation.
I was fortunate to attend Rio Hondo College. It provided me with inspiring traditional art instruction and the most advanced computer graphics lab in California at the time. I had a blast combining 2D and 3D graphics with my traditional arts and exploring groundbreaking techniques. Pursuing personal art projects and 3D animation projects in my off hours, I fueled my imagination working at the local game shop, playing video games, and imaginative fantasy role-playing. These efforts led to an opportunity creating 3D graphics for video games at Interplay Entertainment and this was my springboard into a career as a professional artist.
I've since had the pleasure of working on inspirational projects spanning the worlds of toy design, 3D video games, 3D animated graphics, 2D animated games, board games, and various types of 3D illustration.
I keep my traditional art alive by regularly attending life drawing workshops throughout the city, drawing at home and in the field, and participating in sculpting classes.
